Welcome to LindsayRoseReads

Welcome back, or welcome if you are new here!

That was a HIATUS!

Things that haven’t changed since I left… I’m still reading A LOT and beat my GoodReads goal for 2023! I am still paying for this space and receiving emails and requests to review books, which I was ignoring (sorry).

Things that have changed: I am working full-time at the headquarters of my local Public Library system as their Communications Coordinator! Social media, writing, being an all-around creative surrounded by books? AMAZING. Also, Book of the Month made its way to Canada! My bookstagram jealousy has subsided.

Meet me on my Instagram as I share my love of reading, connect with others like myself, and give you some sneak peeks into those new releases that come through my office on Tuesday.

What begins as a seemingly idyllic Easter getaway takes a dark turn as old friendships reveal hidden animosities, leading to a night of suspense, betrayal, and ultimately, murder. The narrative unfolds through the eyes of Elliot Chase, our unreliable narrator, promising a story unlike any other….

Such A Fun Age

Such a Fun Age is another book I entirely judged by its cover, along with its passionate praise from Reese Witherspoon. Although RW has let me down in the past... I'm talking about you, Daisy Jones. Her opinion mixed with a catchy title and a pretty cover, and I am all in.

Things I did not know when I sent my husband my Christmas book list this year...

Felix Ever After

Felix is one of the most loveable protagonists I have encountered in a while. He is melodramatic - as a character in the story calls him, but he is also a teenager at the heart of everything. This story explores the issues of race, gender identity, abandonment, self-acceptance, and love.

Felix ever after is a feel good story for everyone but holds significant importance…
